The WALTERS and ME!

The weekend adventure started off on a drive to the airport, by the wonderful Louie, at 5:00 pm...I was the only one in the airport (as it seemed because there was no one at the security check point). I had an hour to wait for the plane, an hour plane ride, and hour to wait for the shuttle, and a 2 hour shuttle...and put me into Coupeville at 11 pm. Don't worry, Marley kept me entertained this whole time.

It was a great weekend spent with the Walters. Taryn is full of spunk...and loves her auntie, who is her hair and fashion stylist. Kyla and I had a great time cruisin' around the area...fighting with the traffic, and the stupid lady at the McDonalds drive-thru, "who doesn't accept the monopoly free fries coupons." We had a good laugh about that. Free dinner was provided at the Macaroni Grill, thanks to the manager who took apart our booth to try to find a lost cell phone. It was midnight before we arrived home and we were pooped. Taryn showed us how to slide and swing like the best of them at the park...and was the prettiest little kid out there, with her little braids and bright blue eyes. She was a bit tired and getting over a sickness, so she didn't run around as much as I was thinking she would.

My journey was coming to the end, with a drive to the shuttle at 5:30 pm, and a flight at 8:30, in which I was in tears for most of the trip, due to...Marley. People must've thought I was a wreck...But, I must say it was well worth it!

I am sad to be back...

I had no idea that you liked the book so well. I thought the last time I heard from you about it, you didn't like it.

I so wish I too could see that wonderful Walters family especially that little one. Thanks for letting her know that we are still in the picture. So looking forward to Thanksgiving with them and you too.
