The infamous 4-day weekend…

Wait…every weekend is a four day weekend for me.  Hmm…I remember my Thursday and Friday consisting of  dealing with my broken car!  I finally took pictures…but alas the pictures are on my “big” camera, in which I have not transferred them onto a thumb drive yet.  I met with the insurance adjuster, took my car to several body shops for estimates…realizing that I have 2700 dollars worth of damage, and only 2000 dollars to fix it.  Hmmm…what to do?  I sometimes wish I can wave my magical wand and it will be fixed.  Oh wait…I don’t have magical abilities…as much as I try to use the force on Louie.  Maybe I haven’t mastered it yet. 

Friday night, Louie and I went to Bedtime Stories.  It was cute.   The plan was to sneak into Marley and Me after the show, and hit up a double header…but the other show didn’t start for another 30 minutes…and a certain someone was a little scared to “sneak” in.  Oh well.  Maybe it just isn’t meant to be to watch Marley. 

Saturday morning, Louie’s parents came for a visit.  Saturday consisted of a huge shopping spree!  I spent the day with Louie’s mom, Lydia, and Louie spent the day with his dad, Louie.   Confusing, I know!  It was a fun day!  We found some awesome deals!  It is always fun to have them in town!  We ate out at TGI Fridays for lunch, and Tito Macaroni’s for dinner!  I had to be careful to watch my calories while eating out…and I think I ate around 1700 calories that day.  Not tooo bad! 

Sunday…we walked to Michael D’s for some awesome Breakfast!  Yummy!  Louie and his dad finally fixed his trucks brakes…so now that old truck can be driven!  Yay!  I went and watched Gran Torino with my mom and friend Casey.  The movie was ok…a little slow, but it was a good message.  Mom loved it. 

I hated waking up this morning…therefore I am a bit grumpy to be here at work…with not a single order to do…but I am working on a new product line.   Tomorrow I will be sure to load the pics from the weekend…I am excited to try this new ‘09 Live writer that Kyla insisted we download!
